- Earth represents strength, solidity, centering and the body
- Water represents nurturing, fluidity, depth and the emotions
- Air represents freedom, openness, expansion and the mind
- Fire represents power, vitality, warmth and the spirit
This session explains how understanding the qualities of the four elements can help you to rebalance your day-to-day life.
- Managing Anger (one session) – Doran Waclawiac
- Many of our primary emotions such as anger, fear, jealousy and revenge seem to cause ourselves and those around us great confusion, anxiety and unhappiness. Anger is one of the most obviously destructive and corrosive to our long-term emotional security and happiness and is often one of the least owned or accepted of our feelings (although we witness its effects daily on a global and often on a personal level).
- This workshop explores the role emotions play in our lives, their biological and psychological origins and triggers, and look at different ways to address them responsibly.
- While anger will be the main focus, many of the issues raised and coping strategies explored can be directly applied to gain insight into other ‘painful’ emotions.
