Being friends with your body
BEING FRIENDS WITH YOUR BODY COURSE - Iana Storey, Nikki Thurlow, Caitlin Allen
This course will cover:
- some simple but effective ways of improving well-being whatever the physical or mental condition
- helping us to become more aware of how we actually hinder the body in its efforts to heal itself by ignoring its messages to us
- Self-massage and massage with a partner
- Acupressure Massage - in which acupressure points on the body are stimulated by the fingers and thumbs (causing the body’s energies to flow freely and enabling it to heal and balance itself).
- Emotional Freedom Technique - this works by freeing the flow of the body's energy systems; it works equally well on physical or emotional issues. It is simple and easy to use skill to support you in your daily life.
- Metamorphic Technique - this is a gentle massage on the spinal and hip reflex points of the feet, hands and head. Helping to bring our moving (feet) doing (hands) and thinking (head) areas of our being together. Gently enabling us to move forward in life with greater ease.
