The Positive Care Programme is a registered charity (number: 1112401) which provides a free course of complementary therapies especially designed for people with long-standing health problems and people who are carers (who are looking after someone with health problems).

It runs for one morning a week, starting in the autumn, over 24 weeks.

  • Since 1st October 2009, the Positive Care Programme has become a partner with the charity ‘Touchstone–Leeds’. The administration of the Positive Care Programme is now based at Touchstone Support Centre and the contact phone number is: 0113 219 2727
  • We are delighted to announce that the Positive Care Programme won the NHS Leeds Healthy Living Grant Celebratory Award 2009 for Innovation. 
  • The Positive Care Programme has become a member of ‘Volition’ – An alliance of voluntary sector organisations in Leeds

The Positive Care Programme is very pleased to announce that in February 2010 we received three years of Big Lottery funding to enable us to expand our programme throughout  the Leeds area. The Positive Care Programme team is delighted to have received this funding and thanks the Big Lottery Fund for this opportunity to assist participants to give attention to their mind, body and spirit, so that over time positive changes in wellbeing may be experienced.
